Itinerary description
From Villars Market place follow the road for Gryon. Just after the Hotel le Bristol take the road to the right towards Arveyes. When you get to Arveyes go straight through the village. Don't continue on the Villars-Gryon road, but take the lane below that leads to a footbridge over the river Gryonne. after that, follow the lane up to come out at the Square in Barboleuse. Cross the square and head for Solalex. 200m further on, above the campsite, go right to join the footpath that goes into the forest on the left about 100m below the camping. Follow this path until it comes out on the road to les Pars. Take the road to the left and follow it for 400m, where a footpath signposted les Plans-sur-Bex leaves to the right. Cross the river and go up to the lane under the woods. Continue to the right for 600m. Go past the wide gully and take the first path on the right. Go down the path and when it flattens out take the one on the right that comes out at the Peufaire electricity station. Then follow the road beside the river as far as Bévieux. From the train station at Bévieux you can get back to Villars.
