Itinerary description
This should be a super-easy hike. But a couple of things make it challenging:
1) Mud - the land is very low-lying and it is a wetlands environment
2) Snakes and frogs - almost impossible not to step on frogs, there are thousands of them. And snakes eat frogs.
I recommend going early spring after a winter without much snow, or in October when the days start to cool. That way it shouldn't be too muddy and it will be too cold for snakes.
But whenever you go, if you keep your eye on where you walk, you will find a very beautiful natural environment - bucolic meadows, wild pigs and free roaming cows. I also saw storks, swans and herons, all in all it is good!
You can see on some other people's trails of this area that they pass an old ruin - I couldn't get to it because it was too boggy, but you can see where it is on the satellite (between the end of the loop part of the hike and the starting point), so worth trying to check it out.
