Itinerary description

A nice walk through scrubs and forest with views on the Sicilian countryside.

In the beginning, for around 700 metres, you walk on a quite busy asphalt road (Modica-Scicli) where you have to be careful, as some drivers do not seem to bother about pedestrians. Also from km 5.45 till the town of Scicli you walk on a local asphalt road (Modica-Scicli Fiumelato).

At km 5.2 you have to cross a private property on a distance of around 10 metres (you have to pass under two fences). If you want to avoid it, you can reach the Modica-Scicli Fiumelato road already from around km 4.55.

You need comfortable walking shoes.
