Itinerary description
If you are on Kata region and like to visit Big Buddha, there is no need to take taxi and spend all day for that. You can take nice walk directly trough jungle. We started from our hotel. First part goes on concrete road uphill for about 1,5 km. Then follows for 900 m very eroded path, but nothing hard when you have good shoes. From there onward, 700 m, path is very good until you reach elephant attraction. Rest way to Big Buddha, apr.1 km, goes on wide concrete road with busy traffic.
All the way you can enjoy different kind of jungle around and spectacular views.
