Itinerary description
The only obvious difficult section is right after leaving the campsite. We had to climb up through loose terrain with worn out fixed ropes that I recommend not to rely on at all. With a little bit of care the section can be overcome without the ropes. The Qoqroq glacier throws over 200. 000 tons of ice into the fjord every day and its front wall of ice is around 100 meters high. It is a beautiful sight to see the huge wall of ice tower out of the water and if you're lucky and patient, you can see how it breaks into the water.
