Itinerary description
Park at Parcheggio Monte Eremo. The street is closed during summer, check local information before going.
Start by descending headed for Galbiate, but turn left after few hundred meters and head towards San Michele. From here, the sentiero delle creste will get you to the top of Mt Barro. The hike has few difficult passages that requires free hand climbing, but generally in a safe environment.
From the top, the Eremo is 30 minutes away, where you can enjoy a lunch with typical dishes. Be sure to book in advance!
