Itinerary description
I decided to do a loop to climb Mount Jezerski via a trail I found on maps.me northwest of the town. You have to walk around 2.5 km on the main road to get to the trailhead. At the beginning, it's a good trail. Very few markings but it's easy to follow. The trail then continues towards the north and loops up and around before going up.
At the 3rd waypoint (where the abandoned camper is), there was a trail that seemingly shortcut going around which I decided to take. This would save me 3.5 kms or so. The trail was fine at the beginning except it disappeared after getting to some rocks. Then I was on my own. No trail anywhere. This was an adventure. I tried to stay to the rocks to speed up my progress but it still took longer than I wanted it to. It was still fun though.
I finally met the main trail and made my way up. There's a booth after going up the stairs charging for the museum entrance (I cynically think it's a fee for the view). You can still summit if you go up some stairs to the right of the tunnel. After going up, it's a bit disappointing as you cannot see down the valley to the west without paying to enter the museum. Felt like a cash grab. I tried to get a look by continuing next to the museum wall but it got too steep so had to stop. Shame.
It's a beautiful park. However, I don't think the way I took to get there was very interesting. So I'd say, find another trail to complete the loop or just stay on the standard one I took in my way down. It's a much more beautiful view. Or heck, if you don't have much baggage, walk straight to Kotor!

I've followed part of the trail, from Centinje to the abandoned camper. It was very useful and clear!

We followed this trail down from the mausoleum in the opposite direction (the northern part) to Cetinje. After 1,5 km there was no recognisable path anymore and we had to find our way through the bush untill we reached the first ruin/house an hour later. From there the route was easy to find and follow.
