Itinerary description
This trip starts in Cetinje, I arrived there by bus from Budva, early on a Saturday morning.
It goes from the bus station and across the city until the real trail starts (image 1).
The trail is clear but not really marked, I followed https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/from-cetinje-to-lovcen-national-park-40824515 but the difference is I took the rocky way and then once reached the forest I went through it following a dry river bed. At some point the terrain became very steep and in continues like this until a road is reached right on the base of the Jezerski peak and the mausoleum.
Then I decided not to follow the road but instead to climb the rocky wall straight to the top. In rock climbing grades I would say this is a 4c, with only one section 5b. It's not vertical, it has a positive degree. It's climbable without equipment, but it's certainly dangerous so I don't really recommend it. Do it at your own risk.
From the top of Jezerski the trail goes down over the south face of the peak, the rocks are very loose so be careful, in the direction of the only visible road, it goes through a small forest.
Following the road, at some point you just have to climb straight into the rocks, continue through the forest and then again a rocky way. It's neither very steep or difficult. The last 20-30m are the steepest.
On the way back, from the top of Stirovnik, there's no real trail, my goal was to go straight. There's one part were I had to climb down a wall of like 10m. It can be avoided by going around it.
After crossing the road, there's again a hiking trail, clearly visible. I followed to the town Ivanova Korita. The Hotel Monte Rosa is a good place to have lunch/dinner or stay.
