Itinerary description
We hiked uphill on a path from above Frigiliana to the road heading toward Cuatro Caminos and Frigiliana. Then we went in the direction of Acebuchal but at the junction of the upper road that goes by the old quarry, we turned uphill on the steep path just a little past that junction. The trail is fairly well marked with cairns and paint spots. The trail goes up pretty steeply with a lot of scrambling high up, but eventually leads you to the top (Trig Point) of El Fuerte. After an extended bag lunch break with plenty of picture taking, we followed the ridge trail back down, down, down to Frigiliana for a round of cold beers! It’s not a long trail but there’s a lot of scrambling!

Mooie tocht. Sommige stukken waren best pittig omhoog. Een enkele keer moest ik op handen en voeten naar de volgende keien/ stenen. Mooie uitzichten. Naar beneden was een stuk makkelijker. Kortom een mooie en pittige tocht voor deze Nederlander ( vlak land).
