Itinerary description
The tracking starts after we walked a a little while, as there was no GPS-signal found. But as the track finishes the same way as it starts, that should not be a problem.
You go from Frigiliana down in the Rio Higueron riverbed - walks a while there, and then climbs the Barranco del Agujero up to the ridge on Sierra de Enmedio - lying between the rivers Higueron and Chilar. After a short walk here you descent on GR 249 to the riverbed and back to Frigiliana. If the river is alive you can avoid jumping criss-cross by walking on the levada some of the way - but leave it before you reach the concrete road up to Frigiliana, or you'll have to pass a few difficult points.

Great trail! It is nice to have an alternative route up to the ridge on your way to Fuente Esparto. I found this trail easier to climb than the GR 249, which starts just after the water basin. This ´new´ trail feels flatter and has stunning views when you look behind you as you climb. A lovely alternative....
