The trail is very beautiful with much variety. Leave Frigiliana from the bank and go down to the river bed. Go left up the Higueron to the reservoir; to the right is a trail sign. Go up the hillside following the clear trail which will go up and down for 2 1/2 hrs on an easy to follow trail until you reach the Rio Chilar. Follow the Rio Chilar to the right for about three hrs. until you reach the road. Go up the road to the right until reaching the dirt road and trail eventually that heads to Frigiliana. The roads are a little confusing so follow the GPS.
