Itinerary description
Frankenstein cliffs are a great alternative to returning down the same trail used to go up to Arethusa Falls. We hiked up Arethusa Falls and spend lunch time there (too many people!) and then took this trail around the cliffs to the train trestle. The hike is a bit tougher then you average trail because the drop off at the end is so steep. I would not want to do this trail when the ground is wet. There are a couple places with good views and one spectacular one that makes you feel like you could just jump down to the parking lot! We hiked this one with three kids ages 8-14 and they had a great time.
