Itinerary description
We started the hike the way up from the mountains. On the way back we hiked through the edges and came down from the rocks and dunes area.
The hike is difficult for most people and you must carry around 3 litres of water. A good pair of shoes is a must, ideally with good ankle grip as there is no path and most of the upward hike is on uneven rocks. Once you reach the top, its a flat surface but still be aware of loose rocks.
The view from the top is amazing, you can see the dunes merging with the fossils. We have seen people who had camped there.
