Itinerary description
Train from Glasgow Queen St to Croy (£4). I start at Croy train station and go through Bar Hill to get to Twechar and start the canal from there.
I got to the locks in Maryhill and then turned on Kelvin Walkway to finish at Kelvingrove Park.
There are coffee shops and town areas on the way. It can also be done as a family walk or cycling.
The walk is easy and it has some good views. Anyway, this is the worst maintained canal I have ever seen, there is garbage everywhere which makes it not a very enjoyable walk.
