Itinerary description
This is a short and flat nature trail that highlights one of Tahoe National Forest's first forest restoration efforts. Here near the old gold rush era hotel location (Forks House), many sequoia trees were planted in 1912 as a part of a reforestation effort. It is a nice grove of young "big trees". The trail is not far from Foresthill, California, and is just off Foresthill Road. Hikers only.
