Itinerary description

This hike starts in the village of Querença and takes you along the Fonte de Benemola. The possibilities to reach this river are endless, but this route is fairly accessible. Only those who suffer from fear of heights, I advise to skip the section along the caves, as the steep descent can be challenging. Fortunately, an easy hiking trail offers a beautiful alternative. In spring, the surroundings are at their most beautiful, but sometimes there is also a lot of water. In summer, there is sometimes no water or very little water.

Deze wandeling begint in het dorpje Querença en voert je langs de m Fonte de Benemola. De mogelijkheden om deze rivier te bereiken zijn eindeloos, maar deze route is redelijk toegankelijk. Alleen zij die last hebben van hoogtevrees, adviseren ik om het stukje langs de grotten over te slaan, want de steile afdaling kan uitdagend zijn.
