Itinerary description
The idea of hiking the ridge of the Dajti mountain was given by Palmtreeproduction, They hiked the ridge from Qafe e Prikes till Qafe e Qershise in an early June morning.

The first idea was to complete the entire ridge climbing up to the north summit of Dajti, going down the north ridge and comming back through the eastern trail of the Dajti mountain that it will bring me back to Qafe e Prikes. Unfortunately, my fear to the dogs made me move back just starting the eastern trail, going back to the Dajti express telesferic, and taking a taxi to the starting point.
During the summer 2012 unfortunately the Dajti national park was burned by forest fires. Maybe all the rubbish, plastics and glasses accumulated through all these years have been one of the responsables of this disaster.
The starting point is just behind the quarry on the mountain pass (Qafe e Prikes) between Dajti and .... The first steps are on the edge of the quarry. Soon you will find the red and white signs that takes you all along the ridge to the summit of Dajti.
Nowadays half of the path goes through the burned beech forest.
Here I only include the path from the Qafe e Quershise to the North Summit till the last point I reach on the eastern trail of the Dajti mountain.
From the North summit to the eastern trail there is no path. Be carefull at the begining of the descent as you need to overcame some big clifts in a steep slope terrain. Later just follow the north ridge between an open beech tree forest, till you get to the beatufil eastern Mountain Dajti trail.

Congratulations for the Dajti Crest trail. Sad to see so much burned forest. Lets hope that much of the beech forest will recover.
Let's try the (eastern) Dajti Mountain Trail another time!
What do you mean no marks? How did you find your way back? https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-senderismo/following-the-dajti-ridge-3455837/photo-1534344
From the Dajti north summit following the track there are no red and white marks (from Qafe e Prikes to the south summit is marked red and white on the trees and stones, so you can easily follow the path). Later no more marks and no more paths.
The way back I went to the telespheric station where I took a taxi back to my car. https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-senderismo/following-the-dajti-ridge-3455837/photo-1534344
Amigo, I am hiking this trail tomorrow at 630AM with a party of people. I don't have GPS, but have downloaded Wikiloc to m cell. The plan is to hike from Qafe Priske and follow the ridge, hike around the bottom west side of the south tower, and then look for the trail that leads down to the cable car station. do you know I can find that trail leading down? Let me know. Thanks a million!
