This is the best way up to the top, it's steep and beautiful, and never boring. If you want to go up this and then down the gentle way I'd recommend that... not the other way around or you'll be facing the wrong way for the good views the whole trip.

Easy to follow
Scenery
Difficult
Very hard to hike if there is still some snow on the mountain and no special equipment available. We've done it in June and, with just wearing sneakers, it was very slippy and icy. It's also not worth to hike when it's foggy.
