Fiskardo July 10- Cypress Trail

We parked in the main parking area of Fiskarso. As we didn't see the actual start of this trail, we walked along the waterfront road to Foki Bech (20 min). From there, we walked past the restaurant and found the marked trail entrance on the right heading uphill in a nice weaving gentle fashion through the woods. We reached the charming village of Tselentata (15 min). Here you walk on what were once donkey paths (now paved) with lovely stone walls on both sides. From there, you reach Katsrata (33 min). Then, on to Spiloucouno (40 min). We tried to find a road Google said would take us to Psithrias, but it didn't exist (20 min detour). Down a road with small white rocks we saw a sign for "the caves", so we went to take a look (15 mn). However, we didn't find them, as there were a lot of felled trees from the 2020 Medicane, and we thought the caves might be hidden (another 20 min detour). Back on track, we followed the downhill back to Fiskardo town (15 min).
This was a lovely walk. We only noted it as Moderate because the terrane is quite mixed, and not flat.
