Itinerary description
This is the second walk through the area around Harberville (also known as Firestone). This walk starts through one of the villages in the area. From there it will go into the direction of the golf course. But before you get to that point, it makes a left turn and continues through an area with mostly older rubber tree. It doesn't seem that all of them are still being tapped, but many still are.
The last 2 km will be over a relative large, but unpaved road, with trees on each side. However, it's a bit boring but there is no other way to you back the starting point. Just before you get get back to the parking, you'll pass by the large artificial lake.
The track is quite easy to follow once pass through the town. In the town you can easily pick a different track as there are many parallel roads, but through the rubber tree forest, there is not that many other choices. You can try a few small tracks as short-cuts , but note that some of the smaller trails only lead to trees (for rubber collection) and don't always connect.
