Itinerary description
The popular trail between Skogar and Thorsmork over Fimmvorduhals. Takes you through the magnificent waterfalls in Skógá and up between two glaciers, through the brand new lava from the 2010 eruption in Eyjafjallajökull and down to the beautiful Þórsmörk.

Hello, We are planning to do this hike next August.
We are wondering in there is any bus service between Skogar and Thorsmork for the way back. Is it? Any thoughts?

yeah, iceland excursions and http://grayline.is. there might be some more but don't know the name :)
How long does it take from Skogar to Thorsmork and back to Skogar? 9 hours? Is there snow along this trail in July? Thanks for the advice.
