FGP3b (Cisterno - Achada Fora - Ribeira Filipe)

O setor FGP3b inicia em Cisterno e segue até à comunidade de Ribeira Filipe, que vive protegida pela sua floresta e envolvida em dias de nevoeiro. Inicialmente, o percurso segue por um caminho empedrado até Achada Fora. De seguida, continua pela ribeira e depois por um trilho usado pelos agricultores, que sobe até Ribeira da Batalha. Aqui fica o ponto mais elevado deste percurso, próximo dos 1 400 metros de altitude. À medida que se sobe, a vegetação vai alterando. Pelo caminho são muitos os miradouros naturais que proporcionam uma excelente oportunidade para relaxar. O percurso continua por caminhos vicinais, entre casas de agricultores que aproveitam a humidade constante para as suas pequenas produções. Na parte final, após a passagem por Monte Vaca, o percurso chega novamente à estrada empedrada e segue pela direita, subindo até a Ribeira Filipe.

The sector FGP3b begins in Cisterno and goes up to the community of Ribeira Filipe that is protected by its forest and involved in the fog. In the first part, the trail goes along a rocky road up to Achada Fora. Next, it carries on by the stream and soon after by a track normally used by the local farmers which goes all the way up to Ribeira da Batalha. Here you will reach the highest point of the trail with 1.400 m altitude. As the altitude increases, the vegetation changes gradually. On the way, there are several natural viewpoints that offer an amazing opportunity to relax. The trail then moves through local tracks and farmers’ houses that take advantage of the levels of humidity to invest in local productions. In the final part, after crossing Monte Vaca, the trail meets again the rocky road and moves right up to Ribeira Filipe.
