Itinerary description
We started in the centre of Fethiye. Walked along the seafront till the official start of the track right next to the ship yards. The path is marked with a yellow sign.
The track starts with a steep incline. The path varies from walking on small rocky tracks to parts on a gravel road.
When you get to the first set of ruins. Take some time to explore the area. There are some great rock formations and I was told a small cave (but we couldn't find it).
From there the path is a small and rocky with some fantastic view points.
It's a small out and back down to the ruins of the Monastery. Make sure you climb up inside for the best views.
Then follow the path towards Kayakoy. At the carpark just follow the dirt road. There are a few restaurants along the road you can stop for food or a drink.
We then got the Dolmus (local bus) back to Fethiye.
