Itinerary description
|
Progressive ascent through a beautiful fir and beech forest to the Barcaciu cabin. From here there are several options to continue climbing, we choose the one that goes to Lake Avrig. From the cabin we take an ascending path to immediately begin to descend to a valley where we cross a couple of mountain streams. From here the climb becomes steeper to Lake Avrig. We easily reach Pico Scara and a short descent takes us to the free refuge of Sacara.
