Itinerary description

A decent spring walk but in other seasons it would be quite average. Most of the walk is easy and well signposted. It is the most mountain bike friendly section so far between Daylesford and Bendigo. The last few kilomters are following secondary roads so the best section is from Vaughan Springs to Porcupine Ridge Road.

Hi there, I'm hoping you could tell me where you camped on this hike?

I only did a 2 night trek. Daylesford to Rocklyn Rd followed by Rocklyn rd to Bowens Lane. I left water at the first stop and also the end of Bowens Lane. I carried 4 litres water a little bit after the end of Bowens Lane to a campsite and continued the day after to castlemaine. Both legs can be done with car shuffle without camping. Chocolate mill to Dayesford was done with a taxi trip back to Chocolate Mill but I paid $30 for that way back then, More people less money. Hope it helps. My brother picked me up at Mt Buninyong for the last final leg.
