This second day is when trekking really begins because the first stage between the road trip and the flight was a bit strange.
After the "Chapati" with eggs and the Lemon tea we start the downhill in the valley of the Dudh Koshi River that will serve as acclimatization; At the end of the day we will reach 3,450 meters altitude and our body will begin to notice the effort, we will have to hydrate well and walk slowly to save unnecessary efforts.
We will cross the Dhud Khosi river four times for the four beautiful bridges from where we can observe the strength of its waters and marvel at our colors. Highlights all the impressive Hillary bridge in the rivers Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi.
Arriving at Monjo we will have to complete the procedures to obtain the permission to enter the National Park of Sagarmatha paying a total of 3,000 rupees.
Arrived at the village of Jorsalle, we go to the River View Restaurant, Jorsalle - 1, Chaurikharka, we ask for a Nepali Chiken Set: "rice, dal, chicken curry, pickle and papad" for 700 rupees and a "Lemon tea medium pot" for 600.
From here begins the most demanding part of the day that is the strong climb to Namche, a lot of stairs following the row of carriers, donkeys, mules and yacs make the path more entertaining among the big pines on both sides.
To smooth the ascent we make two regroupings one at the entrance of the Hillary bridge at 2,935 m and the other at the Everest viewpoint at 3,140 m where, we also have toilets available to the walkers.
Arrived at Namche Bazar we stayed at the Zambala Lodge in rooms of two single beds. The establishment has the possibility of a shower of hot water, you must notify the mistress beforehand to give us the key and take note of the subsequent payment.
Community toilets are spacious and clean, the Wifi of the lodge can be purchased for 500 rupees and the charge of free batteries.
It is "obligatory" a walk through this beautiful town, full of colors with a lot of artisan product stores where we can get the memories of the trip.
Before going to rest, it is worth the trouble to have a drink in some of the many bars / pubs that we find there.
