At this stage, the path ascends the left side of the Modi river valley until it reaches the hill that separates it from the next valley to the east, and follows it until it reaches the road where we will be picked up to return to Pokara.
We leave at 8:50 and ascend until we reach the top of Pitram Deurali (2,149m) at 10:30. They are 4.3 km.
From this place you can see the mountains of the eastern part of the Annapurna circus (Machapuchare, Annapurna 3 and Gangapurna and of the southern part (Himchuli, Annapurna Sur and Fang, from right to left).
But they can also be seen on the other side of the valley, towards Pokhara. Our guide tells me their names. I point out Surya, Bahuda and Manaslu, but when looking for them on the map I only succeed in recognizing the latter and in its vicinity and that can be seen from our position, the Thulagi Chuli and Himalchuli.
This last stage is festive. We walked lightly and in a good mood, but we stopped every so often to take photos. We leave the top of Pitram Deurali at 11:20 and reach the village of Pothana at 12 (2,010 m).
Twenty minutes later we reach the Australian Base Camp (2,058 m). Here we eat.
After a long after-dinner meal, we resume the march and arrive at the end of our adventure in Kade, where a minibus will pick us up that will take us to Pokara.
