Subida

Nada más salir del Guest House empezamos a subir campo a través para alcanzar un camino de pastores que nos llevará hasta la frontera con Kosovo. Es un camino de fuerte pendiente de unos 3km. Existe la posibilidad de seguir una pista, que suele ser la más transitada y de ascensión más suave ( os remito al track de Chema Muñoz Balcanes 2019: Doberdoll - Gjieravica - Prizren).

As soon as we leave the Guest House we begin to go up through the fields to reach a shepherd's path that will take us to the border with Kosovo. It is a steep path of about 3km. There is the possibility of following a track, which is usually the busiest and with the smoothest ascent (I refer you to the track by Chema Muñoz Balcanes 2019: Doberdoll - Gjieravica - Prizren).

En este punto decidimos variar la ruta y bajar por el camino del lago. Sin duda alguna es un acierto pues el camino a media ladera es precioso y tuvimos la suerte de contemplar muy de cerca el vuelo de un Cernícalo.

At this point we decided to vary the route and go down the path of the lake. Without a doubt, it is a success because the path to the middle of the slope is beautiful and we were lucky to see the flight of a Kestrel up close.

Vistas a Kosovo y pico Gjeravicë

En este punto se pude pasar a Albania. Nosotros nos dirigimos a Maja e Gjeravicë, ya que uno de los objetivos es coronar el pico a 2643m. Por este camino antes veremos el lago con forma de corazón (Ligeni Zemër) y al final acabaremos en Gripa e Erenikut (asentamiento de casas q están habitadas en verano).

At this point I could go to Albania. We headed to Maja e Gjeravicë, since one of the objectives is to crown the peak at 2643m. Along this path we will first see the heart-shaped lake (Ligeni Zemër) and at the end we will end up in Gripa e Erenikut (settlement of houses that are inhabited in summer).

Punto de partida hacia la cima de Maja e Gjeravicë. Dejamos las mochilas y comenzamos la ascensión. En un principio más tendida para hacerse más escarpado al final. Se puede realizar siempre con precaución al final y según condiciones meteorológicas (las nuestras fueron estupendas).

Starting point towards the top of Maja e Gjeravicë. We left the backpacks and began the ascent. At first more stretched to become steeper at the end. It can always be done with caution at the end and according to weather conditions (ours were great).
