Day 2 was much better than day 1, walking out of Almisera we immediately started on a trail and remained on a trail until reaching an unpaved forest road that we followed to Lluxent. From Lluxent we continued up to a monastery, and then joined a trail behind the monastery that takes us up and all along a ridge until we finally come down a rocky trail into Pinet.
