Itinerary description
I started the hike in Mérens-les-Vals but you could also drive to the parking lot (shown as one of my waypoints) and cut the distance by more than half. I did the hike end of October a couple days after some rains and the weather on the day of the hike was cloudy and foggy and the trail was very wet and fairly muddy, just keep this in mind and bring proper waterproof boots and gaitors if the conditions would be similar. Rocks can get quite slippery in some places also if conditions are wet...might be complicated with kids, but no problem if conditions are dry.
