U.S. COLORADO - Staunton State Park. Staunton Ranch Trail, Bugling Elk Trail, Chimney Rock Trail, Elk Falls Trail, Lion's Back Trail, Marmot Passage Trail and Scout Line Trail.
The Staunton State Park, in Colorado (United States), is located in the Rocky Mountains, only 65 km. from downtown Denver, at an altitude between 2,500 and 3,000 meters.
It is a relatively new state park, since it was opened to the public in 2013, and its proximity to the capital has made it a very popular destination for hikers, as well as for climbers, since it offers magnificent rocky areas.
There is a varied network of trails , well signposted, some of them reserved exclusively for hiking, among which we would highlight, the Scout Line Trail and the short, but interesting, Elk Falls Trail.
The park has easy access by highway and highway, and the entrance fee is $ 7 per vehicle.
