ESLOVENIA I : Zgornje - Plansarsko - Jezersko

Circular route from Zgornje Jezersko passing through:
- Planšarsko Jezero
The route is good to do, there are some steps with ropes-cables on the wall and stairs and some good to do aerial steps.
The 8 day trekin we spent 3 days in Zgornje Jerezrsko, we moved by car to the area of Zabreznica - Poljce where we stayed for 2 days, then we moved to Stara Fuzina for two more days and finally one day in the beautiful city and capital Ljubljana.
I will give a short introduction to the route we took and then some comments about the country.
We did an 8-day trek, we had the trek contracted and set up by a Slovenian travel agency, almost all the trek goes along the border between Slovenia and Austria. We, a group of 6 from Girona and Olot.
Day 1: Travel by plane from Barcelona to Venice, we left Girona very early (I think I remember 3 hours) the plane left approx. 8 h..
In Venecia, a van with a driver was waiting for us (we had a bit of a problem contacting the driver, among others, because she didn't understand English very well), in 3.5 hours. we reached the very small town of Jezersko approx. 4 p.m.
Simple and nice hotel. and behind very close a supermarket which will be very good for us for refreshments and beers.
Afternoon I take a short walk to Old church svOzbolt
Dinner at a pizzeria near the gas station (we share salad + pizza + 0.5 l. beer for around €9)
Note that I am uploading the photos in order but they do not correspond to the day-to-day explained.
GENERAL AND COUNTRY NOTES:
- Very polite people, always willing to help and inform and luckily many speak English because Slovene is an incomprehensible language (I don't know how they understand each other).
- They don't have containers for organic waste, yes they do have containers for plastics-containers, paper, ... but not for organic waste because everyone, absolutely everyone at home at least in the small town of Jezersko has their own composting container.
- They are very religious, the main religion is Catholic (55%), all the streets and forest tracks, houses, hotels,... are full of crosses and holy Christs and some Mother of God. they say many masses and the church is full of people. The cemeteries next to the churches are super clean, well-kept gardens with flowers and candles, one on each grave, all are graves on the ground with small vertical stone headstones.
- Everywhere there are rivers with a lot of water and that look very clean coming from the melting of the nearby mountains., there are many trees (beech pines,...) very large and very tall, there is a lot of forestry activity and constructions with a lot wood. Also, there are many meadows and everything super green with some small herds of sheep (maximum 209) or cows (maximum 8).
- Slovenians hardly have or sell maps of their country and do not know how to interpret them. If you go to a Slovenian and show them a map to ask them a question, they almost get scared and run away).
- And for example in the small town we were in (Jezersko with about 200 inhabitants) in the evening in a small square they did one day cinema, one day theater (of the 4 or 5 actors one was the mayor and the other his wife), all in the family
