Once the bikes are parked in Fiesa and with a radiant day, nothing better than going to Piran walking along the sea (about 1 km). At the entrance from Fiesa, we receive the silhouette of the Church of Sv.Jurij, already before entering the walled city.
Piran retains many features of Venetian domination and it is really a charming town. You have to stroll around the city starting at the seafront promenade that ends at the port of the center of the town where is the Tartinijev Trg / Piazza Giuseppe Tartini. By saving the differences, from far away, remember the Piazza San Marco Venice.
From the square, we can see the castle that dominates the city and where you have to go up to see the tip of the small peninsula where Piran is located.
And if we are already fed up with monuments, let us go down the alleyways of the city that sooner or later they will return to the seafront and / or the central square.
When the evening comes, what better than a dinner in any of the restaurants on the promenade (dishes almost do not vary from one to the other and the prices, either). They have good fish and at really affordable prices.
After the day, another walk along the sea to return to Fiesa to sleep.
