Itinerary description
The track brings you through Yazılıkaya: the largest site in the region, with many rock-cut shrines, step monuments, reliefs, house plans, tunnels with stairs, Phrygian and Roman and Byzantine tombs. You can visit the site for free.
After this beautiful area the track leads through an open world of nature. There are some shepherds and also a steep climb, but everything is worth it.
Eventually, you arrive in Yazilikaya: a sweet village where only five families live. With some luck, you may be able to find a place to sleep in one of the village house with sofa cushions and a fireplace.
There are toilet and washing facilities outside near the Ҫami.

The Phryghian Way
Beautiful and nice walk with endless space around you. Only the stones are a bit slippery.
The way to Aglarca
Here you discover the small village and the trouble of going up has disappeared.
Aglarca
Now you are looking for people in this small village. Where have all the people gone?????
People of Aglarca
There lives a Syrian family Balker. Originally they are from Cirkassia, the northwest area of the Kaukasus Russia. Because of the war in Syria they had to start a new life in Aglarca. Emad and Ammar play music at a harmonica. Also the Muhtar, Mehmet Aslaw is very nice.
