Itinerary description
Unos amigos me pidieron llevarles a la Escalera Árabe. Fuimos en el tren a la estación de El Chorro. Después de salir del pueble empezamos a subir por una carretera de campo hasta llegar al punto "Off road" donde entramos en un camino estrecho y en algunos sitios peligroso. La subida por la Escalera Árabe demanda un importante nivel de cuidado. Después de admirar las vistas desde el mirador seguimos subiendo hasta llegar a donde hemos comido el bocadillo. La bajada hasta la carretera es peligrosa y hay que ir con cuidado. Como tuvimos que esperar al tren hemos cenado en el Restaurante La Garganta.
A few friends asked me to bring them to the Arab Steps, near El Chorro. We went by train to the El Chorro railway station. We left the village and started walking up a mountain road to the waypoint "off road" where we entered a narrow pathway which has some dangerous spots. The ascent of the Arab Steps requires a lot of care. After admiring the views from the top we continued climbing to the spot where we had our snack. The descent to the road is somewhat dangerous and needs a lot of care. As we had to wait for the return train, we had a very nice meal in the La Garganta Restaurant.
