Itinerary description
Start in Erkensruhr at a large parking place just a little further then the Huburtuskapelle. Following a beautiful creek, Wustebach, in a varied deciduous forest with beautiful autumn colors, then spruce forest alternates with deciduous forest. Passing a bat cave. Then follow the Viehbach, heading for the more open Eifel landscape with broom and wild rowan/mountan ash. Ending with beech forest end spruce forest, passing a forest chapel and hiking along a Schopfungs path. Many excellent view points.
In May the broom will flourish.
