Itinerary description
It can be difficult to find a path to Olizon, the ancient hill top settlement. We recorded the easiest route as we left the site. Reverse route to enter.
Directions
1. We approached the site along the concrete and earth road that can be found on the left side of the main Milina to Trikeri road, just after you have passed the entrance to Agios Andreas on your right.
2. You follow the earth road uphill for some time until you reach the summit and can see the view of Xondriammos bay on the Aegean side. The entrance to the site is through an olive grove path that is on your right just before the summit. ( About 50 metres).
Follow the track through the olive grove that is distinct. You pass a ruined stone building and emerge just below a stoney track leading into Olizon.
