A beautiful walk from the main square of Emporio through the old valley of Potamos and following the old donkey path to Pyrgos.

The trail was mostly stone and packed gravel. Not very well marked, so using the app is highly recommended. There was one area with dogs on chains, so bring dog treats. The views were spectacular!
Confirmed that app is recommended especially at start to find out the path. Indeed dogs on chain and also met donkeys. Beautiful landscapes on the way. Mostly stones and rocks. Even dry in November.
