Itinerary description

Το αρχικό κομμάτι της διαδρομής μέχρι να φτάσετε στην κορυφή του ηφαιστείου, είναι ανηφορικό και λίγο απότομο αλλά όχι δύσκολο. Καθώς δεν υπάρχει σαφές μονοπάτι πρέπει να βρείτε το καλύτερο πέρασμα ανάμεσα στην χαμηλή βλάστηση. Η θέα καθ όλη τη διάρκεια είναι εκπληκτική!
Ακολουθούν περίπου 300 μέτρα από την κορυφή έως τους πρόποδες του ηφαιστείου, όπου εκεί θα συναντήσετε τον αγροτικό δρόμο που οδηγεί πίσω στο λιμάνι του Εμπορειού.

Τhe beginning of the route until you reach the top of the volcano is uphill and a little steep but not difficult. As there is no real path, you have to find the easiest passage between the low vegetation. Τhen follow around 300 meters downhill until you reach the foothills of the volcano where you will meet the rural road that leads back to the port of Emborios
The hike offers amazing panoramic view of Emporios port and the volcanic beaches "Mavra volia" and "Foki"
