Itinerary description
This would have been a moderate hike for any other family, but for mine it was difficult, with high altitudes, rocky terrain and big roots. But oh! So beautiful. Every lake made it so rewarding. I carried my disabled son Sam on my back in a modified backpack with a plastic chair fastened to it. On that account I was pleasantly suprised by many people along the trail and parking lot who asked to shake my hand and told me I was their inspiration!
I hiked here as a boy with my parents and this was a dream come true to take my own wife and children to see the Rocky Mountain wonderland of Glacier Gorge Junction.
