Embalse de Irabia y río Urbeltza // Irabia reservoir and Urbeltza river

<<< English follows >>> Esta ruta tiene dos partes. La primera va desde el aparcamiento de Irati-Sierra de Salazar hasta el embalse de Irabia y la segunda, hacia el Norte hasta Francia siguiendo el río Urbeltza. El aparcamiento tiene un coste de cinco euros pero en tu alojamiento pueden darte un vale con el cual pagas sólo 2 euros. El camino hasta el embalse es por pista forestal, ancha y sin ningún problema. Va junto al río por un bosque de hayas y abetos, a la sombra. Al llegar al embalse de Irabia se continúa por una senda que recorro durante kilómetro y medio. A la vuelta del embalse no voy a regresar por la pista forestal sino que me desvío en el WPT "Detour to path" por un camino que sube al principio ligeramente y que me lleva de vuelta al aparcamiento a través del bosque. Desde el aparcamiento continúo por la segunda parte de la ruta, hacia el Norte. Esta senda tiene el interés de ir viendo distintos lugares que muestran el uso industrial que se daba a este bosque en el pasado: remos, mástiles, carbón, ceniza, etc. El retorno comienza una vez que hemos pasado a Francia, donde cruzamos el río Urbeltza para volver por su rivera izquierda. Hay que estar atentos a un par de desvíos a la derecha en los que se abandona la pista para continuar por senda. Están marcados como WPTs. <<< English >>> This route has two parts. The first one goes from the Irati-Sierra de Salazar parking lot to the Irabia reservoir and the second, north to France following the Urbeltza river. The car park has a cost of five euros but your accommodation can give you a voucher with which you pay only 2 euros. The route to the reservoir is by forest track, wide and without any problem. It goes along the river by a forest of beech and fir trees, in the shade. When I arrived at the Irabia reservoir, it continued along a path that ran for a mile. On the way back from the reservoir, I will not return through the forest road but I will detour at WPT "Detour a path" by a path that climbs slightly at first and leads me back to the parking lot through the forest . From the car park I continue along the second part of the route, towards the North. This route has the interest of seeing different places that show the industrial use that was given to this forest in the past: paddles, masts, coal, ashes, etc. The return begins once we have passed to France, where we crossed the Urbeltza river to return by its left bank. It is necessary to be attentive to a pair of detours to the right in which one leaves the track to continue by path. They are marked as WPTs.
