Itinerary description
Starting at the corner of Low Street and Pinfold in Elston, this walks heads out towards the new A46 along Elston Lane. Walking along a Bridleway you track the A46 before crossing the Bridge and down into East Stoke. Crossing the old A46, you head towards East Stoke church and then to the River Trent. Leaving the river behind, you go up the short slightly steep hill and along Trent Lane. At this stage, looking in a North North West direction, it's possible to see the A1 (the old Great North Road) near the horizon. Arriving again at the old A46, you walk back into Elston, passing Eden Hall Day Spa on the right.
