Itinerary description
I would rate this as a challenging one because of the below reasons:
1. The terrain is very rough and rugged. You are constantly walking on rocks which pains even with proper shoes. ( i recommend a walking stick as well).
2. It is also very remote, it is about 5km before the elevation starts from the where you park and start and then same on the back. No cellular service so you need GPS and offline maps.
3. Hazardous, one shouldn’t attempt alone though I did and the as I followed someone from WikiLoc. There were lots of lizards and frogs that meant food for snake so I kept looking and eventually found one under rocks.
If you’re used to difficult hikes then you can plan this. I recommend full gear, medium ration level, in winter with an early start and within a group.
And lastly the reward, it is very scenic and multiple adjacent peaks in line on the top so if you have time you can do all. Also has space for camping up top, so big that you can land an helicopter
Good luck!!
