Itinerary description
This hike was beautiful from start to end. We left at 7.30 from our hotel and started the trail at 8 am. In retrospect I would have preferred to start the trail at 7 am. If you are like me and enjoy to spend some time at the top, leave early as it gets pretty hot on the way down.
Maps.me worked really well.
There are vendors of juice and water along the trail, but avoid taking or asking for directions from anyone as there is the big risk that you end up with a guide... who then makes a big scene if you don’t pay (this happened to a couple who reached the peak right after us). Wish for a little rain (just a little:) as you will hopefully catch that incredible double rainbow. Normal trainers are enough.
