Itinerary description
A very nice 2 days intermediate hike.
We started in the afternoon, got to elfin lakes camp, spent the night there (beautiful location and very well organized campground) and had a very long 2nd day (30km). A better option is to reach Rampart ponds or Mamquam lake camping on the 1st day and then go back on the 2nd day.
We heard elfin lakes get very crowded on weekends, so workdays are better.
Also, while the first part (between parking and elfin lakes) is pretty crowded, the deeper part is much less crowded and wilder nature.
Note the way to the parking is very bumpy anf full of holes. SUV is recomended but not a must.
