Itinerary description
This trail starts in Du Toitskloof and follows the trail along the Elands River to the official trail end, here we continued along the path before crossing the river and heading up the Waterfall kloof. The Waterfall at the end is one of the most spectacular in the cape. Be careful bouldering through the kloof as rocks are slippery, you will need to keep focus and not get too distracted by your surroundings. The trail is well defined until you reach the official end of the trail then some common sense in heading into the kloof will be your guide. The trail has minor to moderate points of exposure to drops and cliffs. Heat and Sun can be problematic in warmer months, pack sunscreen. There are plenty of unique Erica's in this kloof not common on other trails, the Breede River yellowwood also features well along the river.

The waterfall is one of the most spectacular of all the hikes in the cape. The bouldering to get there can be challenging.
Try to cross at the return route crossing as it is easier.

There is quite a long straightforward walk until you reach the actual Kloof. After the river crossing the view starts to change from likeable to gorgeous and culminates in a spectacular waterfall. Basically it gets better and better towards the end.
