Itinerary description
Followed a few roads in the area around where I am staying. There were ups and downs but nothing too bad. Some nice views and not that much traffic (hiked on a Sunday). Saw a few lizards but they were faster than I expected and definitely camera shy.
The best place to start would be 300 meters south of where the trail begins/ends in a small town called San Jose Sur. There is a small circle and a school where parking is available as well as a couple of stores.
