Itinerary description
Llegamos al Centro de Visitantes del Torcal de Antequera sobre las 11 horas de la mañana. Después de tomar un café hicimos el camino al Mirador para disfrutar de las vistas de todo el valle, y desde allí decidimos hacer el camino la famosa formación El Tornillo, que es el emblema de El Torcal de Antequera. Es un camino fácil, con vistas interesantes y un entorno muy espectacular. A continuación hemos comido muy bien en la Cafetería del Centro. Merece la pena visitar el Centro de Visitantes, ver el audio-visual y las sala de exhibiciones, la tienda y sobre todo la Cafetería que tiene platos basados en productos de la zona.
We arrived at the Visitors Centre of El Torcal de Antequera around 11oc in the morning. Following a nice cup of coffee in the Restaurant of the Centre, we walked to the "Mirador" to see the views of the valley below from this vantage viewing point, and from there we decided to take the path to the famous rock formation El Tornillo (the screw), which has become the emblem of El Torcal de Antequera. It is an easy path, with interesting views and in spectacular surroundings. Following that we had a lovely meal in the Restaurant of the Centre. It is well worth while leaving time to drop into the Visitors Centre, see the audio-visual and the exhibition hall, the shop and most of all the Restaurant which serves dishes based on the local produce.
