Dolenja Vas - Rakov Škocjan
Today we will go to the Slovenian Karst region, undoubtedly one of the natural wonders of Slovenia and Europe. In it is the Rakov Skocjan Natural Park, the scene of the excursion that we will do today.
Phenomena such as surges, caves, sinkholes, intermittent watercourses have their maximum exponent here, in combination with beautiful forests and lakes. At the end of the march we will visit the spectacular Postojna Cave, declared a World Heritage Site, using a peculiar little train.
Tour along a dirt track and path through beech and oak forests.
