Itinerary description

Moderately easy walk except for the crossing of the barranco after Las Portelas which is a viciously steep descent on a concreted track followed by a steep stony climb up the other side (which would not be good in reverse)

A lovely walk and pleasing to find one in this area with moderate elevation.
I strongly recommend that on the ascent from El Palmar, you fork left so as to take in more of the PR 55.1 along the ridge. There are views all the way to Anaga. Magnificent.
